Epidemiological Multi-Level Simulation framework
Project description
Framework EMULSION is intended for modellers in epidemiology, to helpthem design, simulate, and revise complex mechanistic stochasticmodels, without having to write or rewrite huge amounts of code.
It comes with a Domain-Specific Language to represent all componentsof epidemiological models (assumptions, model structure, parameters…) in an explicit, intelligible and revisable way, andthus facilitate interactions with other scientists (biologists, veterinarians, economists…) throughout the modellingprocess. EMULSION models are automatically processed by a modularsimulation engine, which, if needed, can also incorporate small codeadd-ons for representing very specific features of a model.
Models can use classical modelling paradigms (compartments,individual-based models, metapopulations) and multiple scales (fromindividuals to metapopulations), thanks to recent research inArtificial Intelligence.

Notes: Consider the following before you begin using this document:
|
1 Task 1: Review and Make Note of Your Operating System Capabilities (32-bit or 64-bit)
Before you download any Oracle Fusion Middleware software, review your existing environment and determine your specific operating system versions, including whether you are using 32-bit or 64-bit systems.
Many Oracle products provide specific 32-bit and 64-bit downloads. As a result, it is important to make note of your specific operating system requirements before starting any downloads.
2 Task 2: Review the Certification, System Requirements, and Interoperability Information
Review the following documents to be sure that the Oracle Fusion Middleware software you want to download is supported on your existing software and hardware.
Notes: When checking the certification, system requirements, and interoperability information, be sure to check specifically for any 32-bit or 64-bit system requirements. It is important for you to download software specifically designed for the 32-bit or 64-bit environment, explicitly. |
To ensure that Oracle Fusion Middleware is certified with your hardware and software platforms, refer to Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN):
To ensure you have enough physical memory, disk space, and other computing resources, review the Oracle Fusion Middleware System Requirements and Specifications document on OTN:
