After moving my entire iTunes library and media to an external hard drive I am now dealing with the issue that some applications (Final Cut Pro 10.3.4, FotoMagico 5.5.2) making use of my iTunes library and corresponding DRM-free music files are not loading the entire content of my iTunes library as they used to, just a dozen songs out of thousands, same happens with playlists.

I have consolidated the library, randomly checked within iTunes about 100 songs doing 'Show in Finder', compared playlists and other content between new external library and the one on my local HD, no visible issues as far as iTunes is concerned.

The few songs being fetched by FCP and FotoMagico, when doing 'Show in Finder' in both apps Finder does show them within the expected external folder path, it is just puzzling that those applications are not pulling the entire content of my library, just a tiny fraction of it right after migrating the library to the external HD.

Any ideas of what might be wrong? Other than blaming it on Final Cut or FotoMagico, of course.
